Michael Saunders is a commercial and estate planning lawyer with many years of experience. Michael founded Next Generation Estate Planning Lawyers in 1995 and is responsible for all aspects of the legal practice. Prior to the establishment of Next Generation Estate Planning Lawyers, Michael began his career at McGuren & Co, a medium sized city legal practice in Sydney, where he became the Managing Partner. In 1984 he joined Westgarth Baldick (now Corrs Chambers Westgarth) as Partner specializing in Intellectual Property law. In 1991 he became a Partner at Abbot Tout Russell Kennedy, and subsequently he was a consultant to law firm Michell Sillar. Michael received a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws from The University of Sydney, and graduated with distinction in Computers and the Law from The University of New South Wales. Michael has been a lecturer and speaker at the New South Wales College of Law, Regional Law Societies; Law Council of Australia’s law Office Management Section; New South Wales Institute of Chartered Accountants; Auditors’ Association; Business Law Education Centre; LES conferences Australia; Institute for International Research; Centre for Technology and Law; University of New South Wales; and the International Bar Association.
